BIOGRAPHY

My name is Skyler Tolzien-Orr and I am a member of the class of 2020 at Wakefield School. Next year, I will be attending the College of William and Mary. I hope to major in Global Studies and Public Relations with a minor in Theater Performance. I have always been told that I "belonged in a different decade," and was most often told that I seemed to best fit with the '50s. This might just be because I have a tendency to dance around my kitchen to doo-wop and rock and roll music in my kitchen. Or maybe it's connected to my slight obsession with Audrey Hepburn. Regardless, I wanted to research the truth behind the gilded exterior of the fifties in order to better understand the decades that followed.
